of Czech and Moravian Production Co-operatives is an union of legal persons
with common interests. Membership in the union is voluntary and presently
the union has 320 members. A significant
task of the Union of Czech and Moravian Producer Co-operatives is to
assist Co-operatives in finding domestic and foreign producer and trade
contacts. On the other hand, if a trade partner looking for commercial
Co-operation with producer Co-operatives contacts us, we recommend a suitable
partner from among our members, The Union of Czech and Moravian Producer
Co-operatives also assists its members to organize exhibitions, fairs
and to arrange contracts, Visitors can see exhibitions of Co-operatives'
products at fairs and exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad.
This year producer Co-operatives will take part on the International
Furniture Fair in Cologne on the Rhine, Foire de Paris, the International
Fair of Industrial Arts in Jerusalem and the International Fair of Consumer
Goods in Brno, the Exhibition Embax-Print in Brno, the International
Industrial Arts Fair in Basel, the International Handicraft Fair in
Munich, the International Co-operatives' Fair in Brno and many others.
Presently the Union of Czech and Moravian Producer Co-operatives represents
altogether 42 Co-operatives of a disabled that employ nearly 7 thousand
disabled persons, Because these Co-operatives have not only business,
but also social functions, the union pays special attention to the creation
of snitoble conditions for their success, in the interest of an active
employment policy of handicapped persons.
