The Union of Czech production co-operatives is the union of legal persons with common interests. Membership in the Union is voluntary and presently the Union has 240 members. A significant task of the Union of Czech and Moravian Producer Co-operatives is to assist its members - production co-operatives in finding domestic and foreign customers and trade contacts. On the other hand if a trade partner is looking for commercial co-operation with reliable and traditional Czech producer we are ready to recommend him a suitable partner from our members. The Union of Czech production co-operatives also helps its members to organize exhibitions, fairs as well as renders an assistance by contract activities. Visitors can see exhibitions of products of Czech production co-operatives at fairs and exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. Presently the Union of Czech production co-operatives represents about 50 production co-operatives employing disabled people. These production co-operatives have not only business but also social functions. The Union of Czech production co-operatives pays special attention to the creation of suitable conditions for them in the interest of an active employment policy of disabled persons.
